About the Artist

Born in Burgstädt on 12 July 1980, André Wagner lives and works in Berlin and Potsdam.

André's photographic stagings explore nature, time, and spirituality. André works with these three factors in his photographic practice and draws his inspiration from them. He stages his motives with the help of light and colours, and above all with the connecting tool of time. His artwork has been collected by Potsdam Museum, Potsdam; Deutsche Lufthansa AG, Cologne; Rothschild Bank Art Collection, Zurich; Vattenfall AG Art Collection, Berlin; Moritzburg Art Museum, Halle (Saale); German School Art Collection, Budapest.
